A HUGE welcome to the Year 2 class page!

In Year 2 we do lots of fun and exciting new things. Our Curriculum Map and Knowledge Organisers will tell you everything you need to know about what we do and when we do it. 

Highlights of Year 2 include - learning about The Great Fire of London, visiting Nantwich Museum, learning all about the Daintree Rainforest and exploring the Village of Guilden Sutton...to name a few. 

Homework and Spellings 

In Year 2 we change our reading books every Friday. We chose our own reading book according to our phonic phase or we choose a colour banded book. Homework is given out on a Thursday and it should be returned by the following Wednesday. 

PE

Our PE sessions are on a Tuesday morning and children should come into school in their PE kits. 

French

Each week, the children participate in s French lesson. To practice their skills, they can access the website Linguanfun.eu at home.
