The School Trust Fund
What do we do?
The School Trust Fund is a registered charity. It has been set up with the aim of providing a tax efficient means of accepting donations by gift aid. This means for every pound you give, the trust would receive an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation to go further.
The aim of the School Trust Fund is to provide financial benefit and support to our School. Our aspiration is to add value to our children’s education.
We aim to support needs which cannot be met from our School budgets nor via any other grant or award scheme. However the money we raise can often be used to enable ‘match funding’ applications to be made to different organisations. In simple terms the more money we raise the bigger grant we can often get!
We help organise fund raising events throughout the school year.
What sort of things can be funded?
Items that can be clearly identified e.g. equipment and that will benefit all children in our school.
Examples include the Trailway, all weather surfacing, purchase of picnic benches, Cultivation Station (vegetable and flower garden), IT equipment and new books.
How can I help?
If you can support the work of the trust by either offering your time to support ongoing projects or giving a donation please get in touch and someone will get back to you -guildensuttontrustees@gmail.com
If you are employed by a company who match fund we would be very grateful if you could apply on the school's behalf. For example, M & S finance, with the help of parents who work there, have provided us with valuable contributions over the years.
